In this session, hear from representatives from various school sizes on the essential elements you should be including in your career services program. Whether you have a thriving career services department or are taking your first steps into providing these services - gain valuable information to jumpstart your program.

At the completion of this course, the participant will be able to:

  • Identify programs and services current massage school students are looking for in a potential school.
  • Discuss programs and services that all schools can implement in their career services portfolio.
  • Determine how to create a portfolio of services that students need to increase school enrollment.

Katherine Brady, LMT owns a private practice in Austin, Texas. She currently serves as program coordinator for Austin Community College’s Massage Therapy and Somatic Movement Education programs. She was previously the admissions director at the Texas Healing Arts Institute where she has also been an instructor.

Heather Nusbaum, LMT is the owner of Phoenix Awakening Massage: A New Beginning School of Massage Killeen, Nutree Fitness and Nutree Bookkeeping & Accounting. She is an entrepreneur with experience in 501c3 organization creation.

April Villareal has been a massage therapist for over 13 years. She is a part-time instructor and Campus Manager at the National Holistic Institute (NHI) and has her own massage therapy practice. In 2020, she completed the Advance Neuromuscular Program at NHI to enhance her skills as a massage therapist and instructor.
