The Academic Alliance and Continuing Education Program Coordinator is responsible for curating and continuously improving the continuing education programs that Massage Envy franchisees can make available to franchisees’ employees.  The Coordinator will develop relationships with manage schools and other continuing education providers, and work with them to develop new content.  The Coordinator will also develop new content on their own, and use existing content.

What We'll Accomplish Together

  • Establishes academic alliances and relationships with continuing education providers
    • Creates connections across the massage and skincare industries
    • Identifies tools and resources
  • On own, and with continuing education providers, builds continuing education programs that franchisees can make available to franchisees’ employees
    • Creates program documentation
    • Develops program collateral
    • Develops required technical support and integration with existing systems
    • Coordinates and manages vendor engagement as needed
  • Launches continuing education programs
    • Coordinates announcements and events
    • Implements a plan for ongoing program evaluation and feedback
  • Measures success
    • Gathers, analyzes, and reports on pre-identified program performance metrics
    • Recommends iterative program improvements to continuously optimize performance
    • Regularly reports on program performance


Education, Experience, and Skills Required

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with training or teaching
  • Prior experience working as a Massage Therapist in the Massage industry is highly preferred
  • Effective relationship-building skills with the ability to lead through influence
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills including the ability to present complex programs in easy-to-understand terms enabling a variety of audiences to understand
  • Strong strategic thinking skills and ability to problem-solve, innovate, and adjust to changing needs and circumstances
  • Extraordinary planning skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage timelines
  • Ability to collaborate with others at all levels of the organization
  • Exceptional customer service skills, responsive attitude, and ability to proactively anticipate needs
  • Adaptability and a willingness to pivot when obstacles are encountered
  • Well-developed sense of empathy and professionalism
  • Able and willing to travel in the U.S. (minimal)
