When you finish this course, you will be able to:
- Identify constrictions in the face and head muscles;
- Explain the benefits of using massage techniques for Indian head massage, facial massage for anti-aging, Bell’s palsy and tinnitus and acupressure;
- Cite the indications and contraindications of working on the face and head;
- List the principles of each method;
- Name, describe and demonstrate the following conditions: anti-aging, Bell’s palsy, tinnitus, and specific massage protocols for each.
Wendi graduated Baltimore School of Massage in 2001 and began teaching massage therapy continuing education in 2005. Her goal is to be able to educate others on their own body's ability to heal itself by creating a safe learning and healing environment. She has taken extensive courses on fibromyalgia, chronic pain, diabetes, and headaches. She enjoys teaching the client what they can do to help themselves.
